Natalia and Wojtek’s wedding – a reception with American touches in Miętowe Wzgórza
American-style, with a touch of mint… This is how the description of Miętowe Wzgórza begins – a relatively new wedding venue on the Polish map. It has been operating since 2017, though the owners are experienced professionals in the wedding industry who have been running another wedding venue for years. Miętowe Wzgórza – unlike Złotopolska Dolina, which combines aristocratic manor house and French influences – offers newlyweds and their guests a balanced blend of American luxury and rustic elements, so familiar from Hampton-style design. Natalia and Wojtek decided to organise their wedding in such a unique venue.
Wedding preparations and the first look in Warsaw’s Old Town Square
Natalia and Wojtek didn’t prepare for their wedding in Miętowe Wzgórza. Instead, they rented a comfortable flat on the Old Town Square in Warsaw. The bride and groom were helped with their preparations by their mums and friends – the schedule included time for moments of relaxation over champagne, which allowed them to take a breather, step back and return to the final wedding preparations with renewed vigour. The ‘first look’ also took place in Warsaw’s Old Town Square. The hustle and bustle of the streets, the crowds of tourists, the barrel organ player and other Warsaw touches provided a fantastic backdrop for a few shots we decided to take before setting off for the church.
Natalia and Wojtek’s wedding – a Polish wedding with international touches
Natalia and Wojtek live in Sweden. For this reason, they decided to incorporate some international touches into the wedding ceremony itself. Their loved ones, who had the chance to play an active part in the ceremony, spoke in several languages – this element simply had to feature in Natalia and Wojtek’s wedding video.
After the wedding, we all headed to Miętowe Wzgórza – it took us about half an hour to get there, and the journey itself was very interesting. The name of the wedding venue is no coincidence – it’s surrounded by fields of mint, as well as other beautiful plants, which we also used during the outdoor shots. However, we took most of the photos by the swimming pool, which forms part of the Miętowe Wzgórza setting – a poolside photo shoot is an increasingly popular feature of American-style weddings.
And what else makes this venue stand out? Without a doubt, every tiny detail blends perfectly with the whole, and the hall’s décor is a continuation of the scenery surrounding Miętowe Wzgórza. As a result, this venue skilfully combines luxury with a touch of the countryside – the Hampton style best describes this symbiosis.
