Her dream, which she is now fulfilling, was to travel. His passion is motorbikes. Both open to the world, full of optimism and good humour – Agnieszka and Cezary are a bride and groom who have broken many moulds. The first of these was a humanist wedding instead of a civil ceremony – the civil ceremony had taken place a few months earlier, which the family only found out about on the day of the wedding reception. What was Agnieszka and Cezary’s Big Day like? How else did they surprise their guests?
There is no doubt that Agnieszka and Cezary are a couple for whom the wedding (the civil, official one) was merely a formality. That is why they both decided together that the real celebration, the one that would bring them plenty of joy, would be a humanist wedding – organised and conducted exactly as they had imagined it. Their own vows and the relaxed atmosphere best reflected the character of Agnieszka and Cezary, who value freedom, the ability to choose, and the chance to create their own recipe for life. After the wedding, they both emphasised that they had entrusted the organisation of their humanist wedding and reception at Ceglarnia to professionals in the wedding industry, whilst overseeing the whole process remotely. Rather than succumbing to pre-wedding jitters, they preferred to go for a walk.
Their spontaneous approach to planning the humanist wedding meant that Agnieszka ordered her dress at the last minute – and it was truly unique: boho-style, lace and black. Ordered just two weeks before the wedding, the black dress turned out to be a perfect choice – it captured Agnieszka’s character and her unconventional take on the wedding day and reception like no other.
On the wedding day, I worked on my own, capturing footage for Agnieszka and Cezary’s 15-minute wedding film. I must admit that the day gave me a great deal of satisfaction – not only thanks to the beautiful Ceglarnia, where the humanist wedding took place, but above all thanks to the passionate and loving bride and groom.
Ceglarnia is a venue where you can organise a large wedding reception for up to 250 guests or a smaller one for up to 90. Agnieszka and Cezary are one of those couples who opted for a celebration with just their closest friends and family. It was hosted by DJ Jegomość, yet it consistently felt more like a family gathering than a traditional Polish wedding. Agnieszka, Cezary and all the guests had a brilliant time!
Ceglarnia in the Wielkopolska Voivodeship is one of those places in Poland where you can organise a wedding on your own terms – far removed from the glitz of elegant venues and the rustic charm of fire stations. It’s the perfect venue for a wedding for people like Agnieszka and Cezary, who organise their wedding reception on their own terms. Another huge advantage of Ceglarnia is its vast space, offering plenty of opportunities for shots in the wedding film or for the wedding photo shoot.
Agnieszka and Cezary managed to organise a humanist wedding ceremony, which was full of emotion, smiles and the relaxed atmosphere they both value so highly. They are definitely proof that when it comes to organising a wedding and reception, the only limit is our imagination. I warmly invite you to watch the video!
